Are you CENSORIOUS?

Are you CENSORIOUS?

We may deny.
But we all are.
Sometimes or all the time.

The word sounds too creepy....
In our lucid language it simply means, the one who finds faults in others; who is critical; one who forms opinions; one who is particularly judgemental.
Knowingly, unknowingly, we all judge others. We realise it and most of the times we don't.

Is it fair to judge others?
We hardly realise our own mistake and we are all get set ready with our comments all the time.
We forget that how much do we know about the person or the incident? What exactly the person is going through; the circumstances, the trauma etc..

We overlook all this facts and start labelling...
If the person is reserved he is an introvert; if one is cool with everyone, he is an extrovert; if one cannot express his views, he is timid; if one can't stand for himself, he is helpless; if one is mentally disturbed, then he is depressed......blah blah blah…

First impression is the last impression - good as a statement, but need not be true always. How quickly we judge someone merely from his/her appearance! Actually, what we may see through our naked eyes may not always be the truth.
Being able to understand all aspects of a certain thing is definitely a good trait. I wish to attract your attention to those who needlessly keep on labelling and commenting like it's the only job they have on the earth.

May be, it all begins in a lighter vein. Gradually, it increases. This habit of commenting, criticizing seem to be developed by one with the passing time.
Some are so much into judging that they completely forget that they are being judged too by someone like them.

How aptly the worldly-wise writer Paulo Coelho says in one of his life- changing quotes-
'' We are good lawyers for our own mistakes and very good judges for the mistakes of others. ''

A survey says that approximately 50% of people fertilize their sapling of self-esteem by judging others.
Each and every person is different.  One can’t bestow his choices on others.  If someone loves trekking you can't expect others to do the same. It’s a question of choice & everyone should respect it.
May be, we should all learn to accept things; Learn to listen.
How the world will be a wonderful place when each one shall pardon others for their wrong doings & follow
‘Live and Let Live’; the ancient way of living of the Dutch.
Things would become so simple then.

May be we all are fascinated by the filmy image of the white wig wearing judge.
We all like to be the supreme judge. Who is the lawyer & who is the culprit then?
And if that is what we like, than, Why not fairly decide at least?
May be, we all are trained into becoming one academically.

Look at the activities we are supposed to complete -
Critically examine the situation; write a critical appreciation of the poem; critically analyse this and that....
This critical overload is so high that at the end of the day, months and years & decades, we end up being a critical person criticizing others.

Am I sounding too Judgmental?
